Insert Mazda IDS CD into your computer
Open my computer.
Double click "Mazda IDS 90"

Open “Mazda ids 90.exe”
Select language, and then click “Next”.
The software will be installed automatically. Then you will get a message asking you to reset your computer before continuing. Click “Yes”.
Click “Next”.
Select “I accept the terms of the license agreement”, and then click “Next”.
Select drive “C” and click “Next”.
Click “Install”.
The system will finish the installation and data upgrade for you. After the installation is complete, click “Reboot” to restart your computer.

Insert Ford IDS V81 CD into your computer.
Open the CD.
Open “ROU DVD.exe”.
Click “Calibration”. We only show you how to install calibration file in this video.
Click “Next.”
Select drive “C” and click “Next”.
Select “Install” and wait for the software to be installed successfully. Calibration file is the data you need for programming. The file can be downloaded from its official website.
Click “Finish” when the installation is complete.
Close the software.

Connect the tool to your computer. Check if its network adapter “ETAS VCI USB RNDIS DEVICE” is well installed in device manager.

Double click “Mazda IDS” icon to run the software.

Since the software I installed before is V89, the software will prompt software update. Select Tick icon to update VCM II software. Then you will get a window show you how to update.

Step 1. Disconnect VCM II from your computer.
Step 2. Remove the leather cover and find a button here. Long press the button, connect the tool to your computer, wait until all the lights blink, and then let go of the button. The computer is now establishing USB connection with VCM II.

If you cannot update the software automatically, please close the software and reopen it. A window like this will pop out. It means the system is installing software update on VCM II. The update will take about half an hour.

After the update, you can use the tool to diagnose vehicles directly. Usually, if the tool can communicate with the vehicle, there will be a Mazda VCM II icon at the bottom right corner of the window. If the icon does not exit, there may be bad connection between the tool and the car.
