1) Download Rev software program in iTune app store

2) Connect your WIFI OBD2 scan tool with vehicle
3) Choose your elm327 device in your iOS device in the Settings
4) Connect iOS device with WIFI network
5) Set the IP Address to Static. Configure the IP address to 192.168.0.123 and the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0.
6) Go back and exit settings.  The scanner will prompt you to configure an IP as a “router”. Select No. Do not set IP as a router. Otherwise, the iPhone will join the internet via elm327 and all data will not come through after connected to vehicle.
7) Start the engine and the WIFI elm327 scan tool will be powered up through vehicle OBD port
8) Configure the connection to use a custom TCP connection with IP 192.168.0.10 and TCP Port 35000 in Rev APP.
9) Enjoys vehicle data information, for example: see more than 5 parameters using landscape, record the data and later export it to CSV, helps maximize driving habits while saving on fuel etc.

How to use Tech2 scanner to make Saab 9-3, 9-5 key

As a locksmith, some of my friends often come to me to borrow my car key programmer and program their own key to save money. The other day, a friend borrowed my GM Tech2 scan tool to replace a 2002 SAAB key as his was broken, but do not know how to use it. So I have made a quick guide for him. Hope this may also help anyone who needs it. Before the DIY, please note that this only applies 1999-2002 Saab 9-3 (and 2003 9-3 CV) and the 1998-2009 Saab 9-5. Earlier cars do not require programming as extensive as this, and the 9-3 Sport Sedan/Sport Combi are a different breed altogether.

How to:
An Electronic Key is a key that contains an electronic device called a transponder. Each transponder has a specific code embedded in it. The car must be made aware of the key and its transponder by programming with Tech 2 scan tool.

The 9-5 and Original 9-3 were the first Saabs to use an electronic key. Gone is the ability to simply have your hardware store cut you a spare key, these keys must be electronically programmed to the car that they will be used with. There is a lot of confusion and questioning on the respective boards regarding these keys, how to add more, what to do when you lose them all, etc. Hopefully, this

When you insert the key into the ignition, the TWICE module (Theft Warning Integrated Central Electronics) energizes a loop of wire surrounding the ignition key. The electromagnetic field generated by this loop (think of a very weak electromagnet) provides power to the transponder. The transponder sends its electronic code, which is read by the same loop, and TWICE then checks to see if the transponder’s code is in the list of “accepted” keys. If it is accepted, TWICE tells Trionic all is well, and Trionic starts the car. The message “KEY NOT ACCEPTED” will appear in the SID if it is not accepted, and the car will not start.

Please note that the key need to be cut although the transponder provides for the electronic unlocking of the car’s engine, the key must still be cut for the lock cylinder to turn the ignition and door locks.

Install TIS2000 software for GM Tech2 scan tool

What the function of TIS2000 software CD?
GM Tech2 is a standalone scan tool mainly used for diagnostic function, but with the additional TIS2000 software dongle, it is possible to carry out ECU programming for GM vehicle models (after 2007).

6) Then run TSI2000 software

7) Connect GM Tech2 device with computer

8) Start ECU programming and follow the windows prompts.

Toyota Techstream "Software Registration" error

1)
When register Toyota Techstream software (mangoose with new chip, Techstream 22pin, MINI VCI, Mangoose VCI), the system pops out the following error message:  “To register software, click on the Software Registration button below. If you are unable to access the software registration web page, contact Techstream support. For Teachstream support, click the Support Information button below”. (shown as picture below)

Solution:
Go to

TISFunction=1 to TISFunction=0
Save

When access to the Software Registration page, the system pops out an error message:  "Network Connection is unavailable. A network connection is required to use TechStream. You can only connect 25 more times before software registration is required."
Solution:
Replace the Original MainMenu.exe file in directory
C:\Program Files\Toyota Diagnostics\Techstream\bin\
(Backup your Original file on your computer or Rename it...)
Start your Techstream and enter these Keys to activate your Techstream:
